Company Overview
Screenwriters Inc., d.b.a. ScreenCo, is a privately held company located in Lincoln, Nebraska. The company prides itself on being one of the more technologically advanced facilities in the garment decorating industry. Our products consist primarily of screenprinted and embroidered apparel items such as T-shirts, sweatshirts, jackets, aprons, caps, etc. In addition, we produce a variety of non-wearables such as tote bags, fanny packs, pennants, etc. ScreenCo also brokers advertising specialty products such as key chains, mugs, and pens.

Company History
ScreenCo had its beginnings in the early 1980's as a small local screen printing shop known as The House of Lettering. The House of Lettering exchanged hands several times in the 80's before involving Don Tempelmeyer in 1988. Kurt Tempelmeyer joined his brother Don in the business in 1990. A third partner, John Watson alligned with the Tempelmeyer brothers in 1991 to form Screenwriters Inc. d.b.a. ScreenCo. The new company was a much stronger and more competitive player in the local printed apparel market. A new image of a solid and more professional organization was unveiled.

The new corporation was immediately moved to a much larger facility in an industrial park at 4824 North 57th Street in Lincoln. The screenprinting shop was automated and the office and graphics departments computerized. Since that time, ScreenCo has again relocated to 4911 North 57th Street and added new embroidery, folding, and bagging equipment. Our computer network enables every department and even satellite sales offices instant access to the status of every order in progress. Our new Internet site is fully interactive, catalog requests, newsletters, and soon we will be adding an on-line quoting and ordering system. With its solid reputation and expanding markets to the national scene, ScreenCo has grown to over five times its original size.
Despite the high tech environment of new equipment and sophisticated software, it is the employees that have put ScreenCo on the map. This All Star Team of professionals is highly experienced and ready to meet any need you may have.
